Faced with the painful memories of her past, and the uncertainty of the
future, the heroine of this novel, allows the reader to catch a glimpse
into the life of the post-war generation and the troubles that they face.
This is a great book, that deals with serious topics, in a way that is
bearable for the reader to access. The characters are likeable and the
tale is compelling. No matter what your family history this story helps
you to face the demons of your past, so that you can face the future. A
very good book, and one of my personal favourites.
