Matthew Sweet writes really outstanding pop rock tunes - and does anyone
even care? Thankfully, the music buying public showed some good sense in
purchasing this release in enough quantities to certify it a hit. Part of
the album's undeniable success and charm is the super-catchy single 'Sick Of
Myself', Sweet's biggest radio hit in years. But the album's full of other
such wonderfully irresistable pop moments- such as 'We're The Same', 'I
Almost Forgot', 'Get Older' and the introspective closer 'Slowly'. Really,
this guy is just so cool-and more people need to be reminded of it.
