So it's 1999 and is everybody partying like it's....well....I
won't mention the year again, but what I will mention is the
new release from the Artist we all still call prince.
Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic is a return to form in the sense that
it's the Artist most consistent album since the greatly
underrated Gold Experience of 95', does it hold a candle to the great
masterpiece of 84's Purple Rain? well..no but don't worry
this is a very enjoyable listen and you will play this cd more
than once with good ol'fashioned prince pop like the blues
rocker baby knows and the take me with you esque so far, so pleased
but don't worry prince soul/r&b fans he does great vocal
work on the soulful Man O' War and the first single the Greatest
Romance ever Sold. All in all this is a fun album to bring in
the new year and just might stick around for the spring.
