Review by Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck 3 stars out of 4
In just three songs, the powerhouse group Spin the Bottle leave
notice that they have arrived and are knocking on the door of success
that some of the bands they have opened for at shows (Fuel, Silvertide)
have enjoyed. Yes, I think success is imminent and what they have
been striving for is right around the corner.
They play hard, loud, and with some serious oomph. You can also understand
the lyrics. Now isnt that a novelty? Something that is a rarity with
hard driving metal like this is intelligible lyrics, and I applaud
them for it. They certainly have their chops down and have a true
gift for blending the melodic guitar riffs into their hard-as-nails
sound. I like what the future holds for this band. If they keep making
music like this, they are bound to succeed in a way that all bands want to.
Give this bottle a spin; at least you know where it will be pointing once it stops.
