Karen Matheson's voice is mirror image of the beauty that she radiates
physically. She looks so bright and natural; consequently, her music
is in direct proportion to that. Her Celtic new age folk music brings
you to her realm in a heartbeat. Although her voice is soft and soothing,
it is very strong. Each track tells stories of folklore and tradition.
This is music to get unstressed and into a comfort zone with. While
this is not my preferred listening experience I must say that I enjoyed
it immensely and would not hesitate to give it a spin again when I
feel in the mood to reach a distant land and drift away for a while.
Music with culture and a worldly feel is good for the soul; it never
fails to make me feel whole and alive. Forced to reflect deeper into
myself, I become one with this type music with ease once I surrender.
Everyone should partake in such a pleasant spiritual experience such as this.
