Ehrgeiz is a fighting game with lots of extras to compensate for the terribly basic combat
action. Because you can do the same move over and over without the computer finding
an effective way to block you, fighting fans will go unchallenged. A quest mode and a
handful of mini-games provide alternative play. The Battle Panel mini-game is just like
the classic board game Othello, and the Battle Beach mini-game offers a race in the
sand. If you trip and fall, you'll have to crawl your way to the finish line. The quest
mode is the only selling point. Here you can explore large, layered areas and manage
many different types of weapons and food. Don't buy this game for the fighting; buy it
for the quest mode.
