I know this game is called McGrath vs. Pastrana, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater doesn't limit itself
to only that one skater. Freestyle Motocross has only two drivers.
The controls are way too fast and sensitive, like Speedy Gonzalez on acid. The entire game is a
cartoon that can't be taken seriously. Some of the flips are so outrageous and illogical that you'll
wonder if the programmers screwed up the gravity code. Someone please tell me how you can
do a backflip without going over a ramp. Actually, the answer to that question is to play this
game. So much for physics.
Five game modes include Single Event, Time Trials, Practice, Championship Series, and Multi-
Player. The game has nine levels in such places as Loch Ness and Las Vegas. It doesn't matter,
though. This is one for the dumpster, although any hard-core fan will be drawn to it like a moth
to a flame.
