Review by Tom Allen 3 Stars out of 4
Front Mission 3 reminds me of Carnage Heart. Both games are not what I would call "easily
accessible." You have to be extremely patient.
If you're a strategy fan, this game packs more story and awesome FMV's than most games of
this type, so you can't miss out. I was mesmerized by some of the scenes of destruction, and I
am not easily impressed by rubble. Cinemas 13, 18, and 24 were my favorites.
If you're not a strategy fan, this game won't convert you. You won't like the slow menu-based
battle system that makes traditional RPG systems look like Pentium processors. Most of all, you
probably will detest the amount of dialogue and unfamiliar PC-ish interface style.
The game's most interesting feature is the "Forced Ejection Battle System." You can literally
eject an enemy out of his robot and inhabit vacant robots. You can even customize or upgrade a
robot with parts stolen from other robots.
You know who you are; you know if this game's for you or not. If you get this game, prepare
for a very long and engaging quest.
