Crash Team Racing blows Walt Disney World Magical Racing Tour completely out of the water
with the power of 100 sumo wrestler cannonball splashes. While the graphics are naturally
improved over the PlayStation version, the game is still very bland in terms of visuals and game
play.
The power-ups are cute. You can turn someone into a frog (a rip from Diddy Kong Racing).
You can set teacup mines (teacups that explode). Heck, even acorns have some destructive
power in this game; there is even a homing missile variety.
The tracks could not possibly be more boring, unless they were completely straight without any
turns. None of the tracks captures the feeling of being at Disney World, nor do you feel as if you
are the character you control.
This game is as fun as standing in line at Disney World or paying $5 bucks for a soda. Diddy
Kong Racing and Crash Team Racing are still the top dogs.

This racing tot is a nice idea (race courses set in Disney World locales), but Crash Team Racing
beats it in a landslide. While the courses in MRT are pleasantly colorful, you don't always have
a clear perception of the course on the horizon line as you always did in CTR.
The power-ups are cute. You can turn someone into a frog (a rip from Diddy Kong Racing).
You can set teacup mines (teacups that explode). Heck, even acorns have some destructive
power in this game; there is even a homing missile variety.
The tracks, however, aren't particularly well-designed, and the locales only serve to make things
look pretty.
