Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire highlight the fairly impressive baseball package MLB
2000. So what's the catch? It's almost exactly like MLB 99. All the features you want
are there: create, draft, trade, waive, release, and sign players... even spring training.
The list goes on and on.
Vin Scully and Dave Campbell provide above-average voice-overs, but Baltimore-area
residents will be most excited to see an accurate representation of Camden Yards. For
some reason, several games in the past omitted certain details. Of course, only
obsessive-compulsive realists will notice or care, but we just thought you should know.
If you never got MLB 99, MLB 2000 is at least worth a rental... maybe even a purchase.
