For those of us who haven't seen all the Muppet movies, the film clips included in the game are placed in absolutely no context. They're just thrown in there for no reason, and the cut-in and cut-out points seem arbitrarily chosen. What a mess.

Each Muppets movie (gee, I didn't know there were so many Muppets films) gets its own section in the game, complete with a series of tracks.

All the major Muppets characters are in the game, but their vehicles are too fast and spazzy to please players of any age. The stunt mode has some of the most frustrating controls of the year, partly due to a side-scrolling view.

Muppet Race Mania could have been a decent Crash Team Racing rip-off had the developers spent a little more time testing the game with its target audience. Instead, the game is basically a crash course in mediocrity.
