Review by Tom Allen 3 Stars out of 4
Featuring the music of Loudmouth and Static-X, Sony's Omega Boost is a fast, fluid
gaming experience with a lot of visual excitement. I love the two spheres of controls.
Press L1 and control is relative to a sphere around the targeted enemy. Let go of L1
and control is relative to movement in space.
Fast, zippy foes are hard to catch. If they pop out of view, let go of L1, turn around, and
hold L1 again. Each wave of enemies basically comes to you, so there's none of this
aimless "hunting" business a la Colony Wars.
The only complaints are the absence of rapid-fire and the extreme difficulty level,
starting at level 3 of 19.
