Re-volt is a racing game with remote control cars. The Dreamcast's graphical power makes over
seven courses come to life, especially the fantastic-looking garden level.
Power-ups include shockwaves, fireworks, bombs, oil slicks, water balloons, and turbo batteries.
However, due to the game's speed and wide courses, power-ups are difficult to obtain without
slowing down.
Sometimes your car will get stuck on the side of the course, and accelerating in either direction
does not help one bit. That kind of realism is a bit too much for me. Remote control cars get
stuck so easily in life; I wish the game would provide relief from such turmoil.
Time trial mode is the best place to start playing so you can practice the challenging courses. If
you get sick of those, you can always make your own in the track editor.
