THQ's PlayStation game was a surprise hit for us. We gave it an "A," and the game
was a top-seller. Rugrats does not fare as well on Game Boy, though. The Rugrats
Movie game has horrendous jumping control. When bouncing on balloons, you have to
press the jump button long before you land. The difficult control does not make the
game too hard, though. In fact, even young players will find the levels too simple. All
you really have to do is get to the end of the side-scrolling level. The strong character
development in the PlayStation game is sadly missed in this version. By the way, we're
talking about Rugrats: Search for Reptar on the PlayStation. If you want a Rugrats
game, that's the one to get.
