Virtua Striker 2 is the first arcade soccer game for the Sega Dreamcast. The graphics are well-
done, with attention paid even to the movement of stadium fans. Unlike many soccer games,
you can actually see the blasted ball easily. The ball is always rather large thanks to camera
proximity.
However, I wish there was a simultaneous point of view camera, perhaps in a small window, to
show us where we are in relation to the goal. The sea of dots on the mini-map at the bottom of
the screen does not suffice. Who wants to look at that as often as is necessary when the graphics
are so good?
Lastly, the game has a nice visual explanation of the simple controls (seen when the controller is
inactive after a game), even if analog support is denied once again to next-generation gamers.
