(Review of Game Boy version)

Once again the Game Boy surprises me. The overall wrestling experience is remarkably unaffected by its move to the very small screen (tons of moves, grapples, and modes, including cage and gauntlet).

In fact, it feels even more like a guilty pleasure with mere 8-bit technology! You can still go outside the ring, even though it's Game Boy!

Steve Austin, The Rock, Val Venis, Jeff Jarrett, Billy Gunn, Mankind, Kane, and more… are all featured in this little cart! Seeing their 1970's animation quality is hysterical. Seeing one wrestler pin another on Game Boy is even more hysterical. This one scores points for effort and novelty.
