Halloween 3: Season of the Witch

A sinister toy company is manufacturing lethal Halloween masks that bring horrifying consequences to its users. Although this installment has nothing to do with the Michael Myers saga, it is nevertheless co-produced by franchise creator John Carpenter and features Carpenter's spine-tingling score for the original movie. Fans might feel ripped off, but the movie does manage to thrill with several moderately chilling scenes. And even if John isn't directing, the suspense and 'scare' techniques in the movie are still handled in classic Carpenter style. Look out also for a few cameo scenes from the first Halloween movie.
