I Know What You Did Last Summer

Four teenagers who are out drinking and driving accidentally run over a
pedestrian; killing him instantly. Not wanting to go to jail for it, they
dispose of the body and promise to tell no one of their deed. A year later
though; a mysterious killer begins to stalk all of them- a killer who knows
of their terrible secret. Written by SCREAM scribe Kevin Williamson, this
thriller has some good scares, although once the killer's identity is
finally revealed, you somehow wish it could have been less predictable.
However, both Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar look great
here, and the movie did some seriously healthy business at the box-office.
Of course, the fact that it was riding on the success of SCREAM helped a
lot, too.
