Three kings is a great movie that I would highly recommend
to anyone that enjoys either war movies or likes to laugh
at dark humor. This movie reminds me of a
Clint Eastwood movie called "Kellys Hero's" which is set in world war
II. They both follow the same framework in respect to the plot:
soldier's somehow find out that gold is being held behind enemy lines and
they then try to recover the gold for themselves while not getting caught
by ther commanding officer. In my opinion this was one of the best movies of
last year and was an Oscar quality film. The acting was good, George
Clooney was great (and I am not a George Clooney fan) and his supporting
cast was outstanding. The direction was top notch by David O. Russell.
I have never seen a film by him but will definitely be watching for his
name in the years to come. This is an excellent movie was a great cast and I
highly recommend it.
